Capacity-controlled events:
Currency notice:
- All online registration fees are payable in US dollars.
- For any on-site transactions in Canadian currency, exchange
will be calculated based on the equivalent amount in US dollars
on the date the transaction is made. Please note that no checks
in Canadian dollars can be accepted.
Refund policy notice:
- Refunds of conference registration fees will be made through
February 27th; however, an administrative cancellation fee of
$25.00 will be charged.
- No refunds at all will be given for tours or workshops, unless
cancelled by us due to under-subscription.
- Any refund requests made after February 27th must be made in
writing to the VRA Treasurer, stating the reason for the refund
request. The $25.00 administrative cancellation fee and the "no
refunds for tours or workshops" policy will apply in these
cases as well.
Registration Desk Volunteers:
VRA Conference goers! We are looking for volunteers to work
on the registration desk at Toronto. If you have an hour or two
that you could donate for the Registration Desk, we'd love to
hear from you! Please email Anita Regan, at anita.regan@dal.ca
and indicate what time(s) work(s) for you.
Please think of 'shifts' as starting on the hour, between 8:00
am (8:00 - 9:00) to 6:00 pm (5:00 - 6:00) Wednesday, March 18
to Saturday, March 21. Those who arrive on Tuesday may be able
to help at a particularly busy time between 6:00 - 9:00 pm, and
those leaving later on the weekend are most welcome to work the
desk on Sunday, March 22 from 8:00 - 12:00 noon.
Whether one hour is all that you can offer, or several hours
over the span of the conference, we'll slot you into the schedule.
We are willing to work with whatever is convenient to you. You'll
receive a confirmation email about your shift as soon as the schedule
is done.
It is a great central place to be situated for an hour or two!
