The tools listed below have incorporated elements of VRA Core into their design and implementation. The VRA Core OC is always looking for more information to add to this page. Entries may be submitted via an online form, or by contacting the VRA Core OC Chairs at vracore@vraweb.org.

| Brief Summary | The open-source VRA Core 4 XML Transform Tool enables any user who can supply descriptive image and work metadata in a standardized CSV form (comma separated values, e.g. via Excel) to create validating VRA Core 4 XML. In addition, it is also possible to transform data into RDF based on the VRA Ontology. The tool can be used online or as desktop application. Development of the tool was supported by VRA Foundation and Heidelberg Research Architecture. |

| Tool Name | IRIS (Image Resource Information System) |
| Brief Summary | IRIS is a relational database created in FileMaker Pro for the cataloging of art images by Visual Resource professionals. IRIS is a cataloging tool that uses VRA Core and CCO standards and includes extensive authority files which can be edited easily and exported into presentations tools, such as MDID and ARTstor. IRIS is an informal non-profit cooperative project to which all members volunteer their time and expertise. An annual membership fee covers the costs of some technical help and the programming of yearly upgrades. |
