On-Site Registration Begins March 5th at 6:30 PM at the Wyndham Miami Beach Resort - Mezannine Foyer!

Registration

Advanced conference registration is highly recommended and required for guaranteed placement in workshops, tours and most special events as these fill quickly and are often closed by the time the conference begins. This year, registration includes admission to all sessions and open meetings, the Keynote Address and Members Reception, the Exhibit Hall, the VRAffle and the Saskia Reception at the Old Spanish Monastery.

On-line Pre-Registration

Starting this year, conference registration will take place on-line and credit card payments will be accepted. If you need to pay by check, first register on-line and then mail your check to the VRA Secretary, Margo Ballantyne, at the address listed in the final checkout window. If you pay by credit card, confirmation for all paid events will be immediate. If you pay by check your enrollment will be reserved and confirmed upon receipt of payment. If at the time of your registration and payment, a pre-paid event or workshop is closed due to full enrollment, you will be notified immediately and automatically placed on a waiting list.

Mail-in Registration

A downloadable PDF of the conference registration form will be made available on the conference website on January 31, 2005, the day that on-line Pre-Registration ends. Please mail your check and a copy of your registration to Secretary Margo Ballantyne at the address listed at the end of the form. All mailed in registrations must be postmarked by Feb. 13th.

2005 Conference Dates & Deadlines

December 6, 2004 - On-line Pre-Registration Begins
January 31. 2005 - On-line Pre-Registration Ends
February 1, 2005 - Mail-in Registration Begins
February 13, 2005 - Mail-in Registration Ends
February 20, 2005 - Deadline for refund of Conference Registration fee.
March 5, 2005 - On-site Registration

Refunds and Cancellation Policy

Requests for a conference registration fee refund must be made in writing by February 20 and sent to Ann M. Thomas, VRA Treasurer, Department of Visual Arts, Arts Building 214, Union College, Schenectady, New York 12308. The refund is subject to a 25% cancellation fee.  

Fees for special events (workshops, tours, Tansey Dinner, bus tickets) are non-refundable unless VRA has cancelled an tour, workshop, or special event due to under-subscription. If this occurs, all registrants will be informed via e-mail or phone and a refund for the cancelled event fee will be mailed within the month following the conference. There will be no on-site refunds.

Registration

Conference packets will be available for pickup at the Registration desk which will be open at specified hours throughout the conference starting on Saturday, March 5 at 6:30 pm.
